Citizens HealthPlex receives Aquatic Exercise Association honors.

Citizens HealthPlex was recently honored by the Aquatic Exercise Association with a Facility Recognition Award. The Aquatic Exercise Association is a not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to the growth and development of the aquatic fitness industry and the safety of the public served. This award was bestowed upon the Citizens HealthPlex for our continued commitment to provide quality aquatic programming to the Victoria area.

The Citizens HealthPlex is the only facility in the Victoria area that offers classes certified by the Arthritis Foundation as well as classes specifically designed for bariatric surgery patients. We offer classes in both the shallow and deep water of our 25-meter lap pool. In addition to the Arthritis Foundation classes, our therapy pool holds classes that have been developed with our members' specific needs in mind. In July 2006, our lap pool was home to the swim leg of the first annual Citizens HealthPlex triathlon.

Citizens HealthPlex continues to be an award winning rehabilitation and wellness facility like no other in South Texas. Our caring and professional staff, combined with our state-of-the-art equipment, makes this facility a "home away from home" for many of our members.
