Citizens HealthPlex offers Pilates sessions to members and non-members. Pilates will help a participant by:
Balancing the body with safe exercises
that combine breathing and movement.
Strengthening and elongating the entire
body using controlled, precise exercises.
Improving core stabilization by
strengthening all abdominal and spinal muscles.
Complementing any type of
cardiovascular and weight training program.

What is “The Pilates Coach®”?
The Pilates Coach® is a method of Pilates training that combines traditional Pilates with a more athletic and progressive approach. The Pilates Coach® mission is to give clients a program that is functional and useful to enhance their daily lives.

What makes Pilates Coach® and Citizens HealthPlex Pilates different?
Every participant receives a postural analysis prior to beginning our Pilates training program.
Our program is designed to be safe and effective for everyone regardless of physical limitations.
A mini-ball is used to help make some exercises easier to perform correctly.
The mini-ball is also used to increase the intensity of some exercises.
All exercises are modified to prevent injury or discomfort.
