Bariatric Coordinator

Nanette is a registered nurse with over 30 years of experience.  She has worked as a bariatric nurse since 2000.  Prior to her position as the Bariatric Coordinator of the Citizens Bariatric Center, Nanette's practice area included oncology, obstetrics/gynecology, geriatrics, and nursing administration.

Nanette is a Certified Bariatric Nurse with the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery ASMBS).   She serves on the RN Credentialing Task Force for the ASMBS.  Her main focus as the Bariatric Coordinator is to ensure all elements are in place to facilitiate optimal patient outcomes.  She oversees the education, training, and credentialing for all bariatric staff members.  Nanette also maintains the proper equipment and environment for a safe and comfortable hopsital experience.
